After a long 12 hour coach ride from Guilin, getting through passport control in Shenzhen, I was finally on the last metro train to Hong Kong, got to my hotel in Kowloon and hit the sack. Next day I visited the Central Business District (CBD) and was greeted by the sea of protesters tents covering the streets, things had almost died down here but the protesters weren’t giving up that easily. Luckly for me this gave an interesting spin on the photography side of things so I got snapping away and checked out what was happening then walked up to Causeway Bay to catch the classic tram. Next few days was full of checking out this amazing city & also a trip to see the Tian Tan Buddha, serious bit of bronze statue! and at night I watched the Symphony of Lights show on the Victoria Harbour.
